Pumicestone Passage shoreline used as a planning image for island stays

Sylvan Beach is a real western shoreline, part of the Bellara stretch of Pumicestone Passage. A resort listed against that name was aiming at calm-water holidays, not at Ocean Beach.

Historical listing, details unverified. We will not describe a pool, a jetty, or a renovated wing.

Staying on this side of the island makes Saturday easy: foreshore walks, township food, a short run back to the bridge. Sunday at Woorim is a deliberate extra hop. That is a feature if you like the passage.

Read Pumicestone Passage and accommodation for the wider choice. Confirm any current stay yourself.
