Public Transport: The journey from Brisbane to Bribie Island can be planned going to www.translink.com.au and using the journey planner. Please type in the location you will be leaving from in Brisbane eg Brisbane Domestic Airport Terminal and typing in Bribie Island Shopping Centre to the destination panel and the the web site will give you all options for that day and date.

BY ROAD

Bribie Island is about one hour north of Brisbane on the way to the Sunshine Coast along the Bruce Highway. Take the signs for Sunshine Coast and turn off the highway at the Caboolture/Bribie Island intersection. Take the Bribie Island road for approx 21 klms and you will cross the Bribie Island bridge.

Being about 1 hours drive from the Sunshine Coast airport, Bribie Island is ideally situated for the visitor who wishes to see both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast whilst on their holiday. Just follow the Bruce Highway following the Brisbane signs then take the Caboolture/Bribie Island turnoff. Bribie Island is about 21klms east of the intersection.
