New zoning plan for Moreton Bay Marine Park

On 1 March 2009 the Queensland Government introduced the new Moreton Bay Marine Park zoning plan.

The new plan expands the marine national park green zones to cover 16 percent of the park while achieving a balance between environment, economy and lifestyle—protecting more marine habitat in the bay and continuing to provide for all the activities people enjoy.

If you’re planning a day on the bay, make sure you know what the new zoning plan means for you.
