Woorim Beach
This soft white sandy beach is a popular safe swimming beach with a Life Savers patrolled section. Close to the patrolled area you will find eateries, coffee shops and a hotel. At Woorim there is a wide selection of accommodation from beachfront 4 star fully self contained apartments to delightful beachfront cottages available.
Woorim is also the main access to 4WD beach driving into the National Park Recreation Area and bush camping – (permit essential) please check the Fishing and 4WD page on this website.
Bongaree
On the calm side of Bribie Island and part of the Pumicestone Passage, Bongaree is a popular family beach with calm water lapping the white sandy foreshore. With parklands lining the sandy foreshore, Bongaree is a wonderful shady area to enjoy a family BBQ and have a swim. There are also many play areas for children in the parklands all close to accommodation, restaurants and shopping.
Bellara
Here you will find wide parklands with family play areas overlooking the Glass House Mountains. There are many BBQ’s along the shady foreshore where you can relax and enjoy the calm waters lapping the beach. Mangroves grow and protect the northern foreshore of Bellara where there can be excellent fishing. Close to accommodation, hotel and boat hire, Bellara is north of the bridge with easy parking and boat ramps.
